I design to solve problems.

I do admit, most of them first world problems.
Someone wants a bigger logo, someone wants a brighter red. Some of them have no idea about what they want and that’s where I shine. I’m a communicator, love to chat, would explain to death. I mastered, can-do attitude.
Earliest phase of my career thought me, you need to step in and take the responsibility.

I’ve been to the path where most of designers would think
that task is no where near in their job description.
Taking “that” responsibility made me a better creative thinker! Answering “I can do” moulded the designer I am now. I was lucky enough to understand earlier, how crucial communicating with stakeholders as a designer.

I came, I saw, I learnt!
Worked in both studio & in-house environment, collaborated with small to very large teams, found solutions for minimal to sky-high budgets. I love to adapt changing, challenging conditions, turn crisis into opportunity.
And I’m good at it.

Lead Designer - picnicst.com.au

Picnic Street is an online home delivery service.
Picnic Food’s startup, started just before pandemic hit Melbourne. We proved, what a small can achieve while competing with sector leaders. Started as a Lead designer, proudly touched almost everything, from branding concepts to staff clothing. Now juggling between UI/UX, CX, Service Design and digital marketing as a Project Leader.

Worked on various brands of Picnic Foods.
Sahara Dairy, Melba Cheese Co. , Dairytonic, Sahara Gourmet & Elasu
Biggest achievement for me is to fix design workflow which was not efficient enough between existing graphic designer and sales & marketing teams. Picnic Foods, is the real definition of fast paced environment.
Hardworking R&D department and efficient production team develops new products almost everyday. Sales & Marketing teams needs to be fed with new materials every single day. A project of mine has chosen to fix Procurement Department’s flaws, had to step in and take over Procurement Manager position for a while. Changed design of warehouse, increased efficiency. Created great rapport with all stakeholders including suppliers & customers. As a by-product I got my forklift license. Fun.

Crikey! Are we relocating to Darwin?
It was a great chance to get a better understanding of Aussie culture.
Idea of working for/with indigenous people was more than tempting.
Worked on various projects & brands, including logos, branding, UI design, last but not least annual reports which was one of the main focuses.
The most challenging part of this position for me was managing customers. bellette’s agency culture directly connects designers and clients almost at all stages. Great way to shine up my client management & project management skills.

Great challenge for me to test my skills in an environment I haven’t used to. Creating appealing and eye-catching visual displays and leading customers all around the supermarket was my main focus. My duties also including, Way finding designs, POS campaigns, catalogues & eDM’s.

Responsible for allocating all design workload between creative and digital agencies or freelance specialists. Answering design needs of 10 departments of an over-150-employee-company which was very variated (eg. ticket designs, signage, scenery design, f&b campaigns & packaging etc.) Having adequate training for new or on-going design needs of performing arts center (eg. ticketing printer systems, online ticketing systems, digital signage etc.)
